These sculptures are carved with chainsaw and hand tools by Simon O’Rourke from Rosset, Wrexham, North Wales, UK.

Before starting his own business in 2005, he worked as tree surgeon for Acorn ArborCare.

His work is a mixture of life studies and works of fantasy. He aims to give each piece he creates a narrative, and he loves the fact that something beautiful can be produced using this potentially violent and destructive machine.

Very, Very Cool. Love every one. Wonderful.

  2. @admin,

Interesting photograph! I am just starting out blogging. How do you find the ideas for your posts? What is the quickest way to build a fan base? (You know what I mean, people that actually want to stop by and read your material?)

(My appologies for the newb questions, I just want to get started!)

    Thanks! :D

  3. I have found that to keep my chainsaw running the right way I need to do a lot of maintenance. It is a good idea to always check the fluids, bar oil, and keep your chain sharp. This makes it easier to use and is safer as well. If anyone else has any tips I’d be happy to hear them.
