Michael GaideThese marquetry masterpieces are made by Michael Gaide from Osnabrück, Germany.

Michael Gaide was born 06.03.1953 in Krefeld-Uerdingen, Germany.
Since 1997 he is a self-taught freelance artisan.

His virtuoso handling of plywood have been admired by visitors on many exhibitions and fairs all over the world.
His works show a very different theme worlds, which are to explore ideas from Renaissance, Art Nouveau and Surrealism. In addition, there are landscape, forest, and Asian bamboo motifs, which may take part as door formats.
In 2004 he was invited to Paris to take part in the ” Journées Internationales de marquetry contemporaine “.
