Sculpture Expelled from Paradise by Eli Adamit

“ Expelled from Paradise ”

This sculpture “Expelled from Paradise” is carved from Chinaberry wood by Eli Adamit.
Eli Adamit
Eli Adamit was born in 1951 in Israel and he lives in Meitar, Israel.

He learned to carve in Hans Kantor Studio, Tel-Aviv, Israel .

He said about the sculpture:

“ On top of the difficult to carve 3 dimensions – you need that the bodies will be in the correct proportion from 360 degrees points of view.
It was difficult to carve out the waste between the bodies from one side without hurting the backside.
So I need to carve from 3 different points.
I was tense throughout the process and there was a sigh of relief when I found the meeting point of three-way carving.”
